Save Our Fiji's mission is to ensure access to clean, safe, and healthy drinking water for all, with a focus on vulnerable rural communities in Fiji. As a dedicated team, we strive to implement sustainable water solutions, making a positive impact on the well-being of families, especially children, and creating a healthier future for Fiji. Through collaborative efforts with local communities and partners, we aim to address water challenges and promote lasting change.
We are accomplishing this by:
Implementing water filtration systems: Introduce and deploy reliable water filtration technologies to ensure the purification of water in rural communities.
Promoting water safety practices: Conduct awareness programs and educational campaigns to encourage safe water practices, such as boiling and proper water storage.
Collaborating with local communities: Work closely with communities to understand their specific water needs and involve them in the decision-making process.
Establishing partnerships: Forge collaborations with local and international partners, including NGOs, businesses, and government agencies, to enhance resources and support for water initiatives.
Fundraising and donation drives: Conduct fundraising activities and seek donations to secure the necessary funds for implementing water projects and sustaining ongoing efforts.
Advocacy and policy engagement: Advocate for policies that prioritise access to clean water, engaging with policymakers to create a conducive environment for water-related initiatives.
Monitoring and evaluation: Regularly assess the impact of implemented projects, ensuring accountability and continuous improvement in providing safe drinking water
